eZ Systems Wins Red Herring Global 100 Award

In an announcement on January 15th, 2010 in Laguna Nigel, California, the maker of the eZ Publish Content Management Systems was included in the list of the top 100 tech startup companies on Earth. Competing against thousands of companies in regional contests around the world, eZ Systems made it first as a finalist, becoming listed on the Red Herring Global 200, before earning a place among the Global 100.

eZ Systems notes previous recipients of this award "include Google, Yahoo!, Skype, Netscape, Salesforce.com, and YouTube."

In the last year eZ Systems has increased its USA staffing 400%, secured very strong venture capital financing despite the credit crunch, and seen its CMS deployed in high profile enterprise applications--including the website for the first US daily paper to go 100% online. The world's largest Open Source Content Management software company, eZ is a profitable company with more than 5000 paying customers from more than 100 countries.
